DAYS AMBOSELI/TSAVO WEST
CAMPING SAFARI
Day 1: Nairobi Amboseli
Drive to Amboseli National Park. You will pass
through the Athi plains the home of the proud
Masai tribe to Amboseli National Park a place of
stark contrast. Amboseli National Park is
dominated by Mount Kilimanjaro the highest
Mountain in Africa. Dinner will be served at the
mobile camp.
Day 2: Amboseli
The early morning and late evening game drives
is a must both for the quality of viewing and
for the atmosphere of the wilds of Africa. Mount
Kilimanjaro will provide a beautiful back drop.
Meals will be provided at the mobile camp.
Overnight at the campsite.
Day 3: Tsavo
After an early morning game drive, depart to
Tsavo West National Park. Proceed to Tsavo west
National Park game drive enroute. Animals
include the lions, buffalo, cheetah, leopards,
and zebras amongst others. It's also a rhino
sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 04: Tsavo / Nairobi
After Break fast early morning Game Drive the
depart for Nairobi.
6 days Amboseli/Tsavo West/Tsavo East/Mombasa
Day 1 - Amboseli:
Depart Nairobi in the morning. and drive via
Namanga on the Tanzania border and reach
Amboseli early in the afternoon. We view game as
we proceed towards the campsite for dinner and
overnight.
Day 2- Amboseli:
Day spent exploring this park with the
magnificent snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro in the
background. The waters from melted snow drain
down the mountain under lava flows and surface
on the Amboseli plains, creating a green belt of
swampland amidst dusty plains. Here elephant,
buffalo, lion, cheetah, wildebeest, hyena,
jackal, zebra and the Maasai giraffe are likely
to be seen.
Day 3 - Tsavo West:
We leave soon after breakfast for Tsavo West
National Park. Visit the Chyulu Hills and the
Mzima Springs, which are favourite haunts of
both the hippo and crocodile that can be seen
from an underwater observation chamber if time
permits. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 4 - Tsavo West:
Day spent exploring the park including the
nature trails.
Day 5 - Tsavo East:
Early in the morning we drive to Tsavo East.
This park once famous for its great herds of
elephant still has these beats usually covered
in red dust and a variety of game and fine
scenery. We visit Lugards Falls, Mudanda Rocks
and Aruba Dam as we vie game if time permits.
Day 6 - Mombasa:
Early morning game drive. after breakfast we
proceed to Mombasa arriving there in good time
for pax to find their way to their hotels
Price includes:
- Transportation in a custom safari minibus with pop-up roof
ideal for game viewing and sightseeing
- Services of a trained and experienced English speaking
driver/guide
- All camping equipments except sleeping bags
- Three meals per day prepared by our safari cook
- Bottled water for use during the safari
- Game drives and park entry fees
Not included:
- International air transportation to and from Nairobi
- Expenses of personal nature such as visas, travel/baggage
insurance, laundry, beverages, tips etc
